About Us
In 1963 my Nonno, Santo (Sam) Madaffari, was working on the construction site for the Naval Base when he heard there was to be a "support town" built at which is now Exmouth. He went with is wife, Rosa Madaffari, and his brother-in-law to the land auction in Perth and purchased a block of land in the proposed shopping centre.
Subsequently this was the first shop built on the site and opened as the General Store. Over the years as the town grew and changed so too did this shop and has evolved into what is now Exmouth Tackle & Camping Supplies.
My husband Steve and I bought the business from my parents in 2007 and have carried on the passion my Nonno started so many years ago.
We are a very family orientated business, where old fashioned customer service and friendly advice is a part of every day trading.
Our children have grown up in this shop, being passed around as babies to now saying hi and interacting with our customers (very much history repeating itself).
Our staff over the years have been a part of the family and share the same passion to entice people to want to come back to our little piece of heaven.
Exmouth is a tourism driven town and here at Exmouth Tackle & Camping Supplies we want you to be able to come and enjoy the most of why we live here!
